There is no better way to celebrate Bob Marley, than to come out to the Virginia Reggae Awards. The awards are celebrating four (4) years of honoring the Reggae talent in Virginia.

Here is the schedule for Saturday's activities:
3:00-3:40 - Dj Badjoe/ Dj Philosophe
3:40 -3:50 -Urban Sounds Ent & Minerva( Sounds of Africa, tribute to Bob Marley) Drumming.
3:50 - 4:00 - Sax tribute to Bob Marley by Rich(Session Rockers).
4:00 -4:30 - Iron Lion
4:50- 5:20 - TonAhope (Hopeton), Israel, Noble (Tribute to the Dancehall)
5:20- 5:40 - EVER G
6:00- 6:35 - United Souls Band
6:55- 7:25 - Tuff Lion
7:45- 8:15 - Crucial Elements
8:35- 9:05 - Nature's Child
9:25-10:30- Thin Air Rising
*Awards will be given out between 4:30 - 8:30

There will be vending and fun activities for kids of all ages. This year, the Reggae Awards partners with the street festivities held weekly in downtown Hampton. Many of the nominees and performers were featured at the 1st. Buckroe Beach Reggae Festival held last saturday. See you at the corner of King and Queen street for a royal party. It's going to be IRIE!
